The introduction of the Fastrax III domes has enabled numerous improvements to be made to the already successful series. In particular, the drive mechanism for the pan/tilt system has undergone significant modifications. These concern above all the ability to vary the speed settings.

Almost continuously variable speed
Three different speed functions are almost continuously variable, both in pan and in tilt modes – in the slow mode, both the pan and tilt speeds are 19º-90º per second. In normal mode, the speed for the pan function can be set between 40º-360º and the speed for the tilt function to between 40º-360º per second. The turbo mode even allows speeds between 100º-380º (panning) and 100º-360º (tilting) per second. There are also a great number of variable settings with regard to the time taken for guard tours, auto-scan and auto-pan. In total, there are 13 different steps available, meaning that the appropriate setting can be selected for every application and every area monitored.

Plug & Play Packages
In addition to the Fastrax modules, the Fastrax PP Plug & Play packages are also available. Here there is a choice of two equipment versions. In addition to the dome camera, both versions have an outer housing with a clear dome, as well as heating, ventilator and sun roof. The second version (identified by the additional “AKS” in the model name) also includes a weather-resistant connection box with power supply unit and installation arm.
