The new VPT pan/tilt head from eneo looks back over a successful product history with over 50,000 systems in use globally and thus continues the successful product tradition of the VPT-42 series.

Now the developers have again improved the system: the P/T head changes position three times as fast as the VPT-42 and, depending on the version, scores with its concealed cabling, continuous rotation and flexibility. The P/T head can be optionally operated using existing housing types or as a complete system with an integrated VHM housing.

Externally, the former shape has been retained to a large extent – in the top version (VPT-600 series), the base and concealed cabling have been seamlessly integrated into the elegant VPT design concept. The horizontal speed of rotation is now 100°/sec.; in the tilt range the speed has been increased to 50°/sec. At the same time, the power transmission ratio has been optimized and the torque thus improved.

Economy version with compact format
As continuous rotation is demonstrably not required for every application, an additional economical 359° variant without continuous rotation and concealed cabling will come onto the market in 2007 (VPT-500 series). Its compact format and corresponding cost savings are significant benefits. Both versions have a maximum of 64 programmable fixed positions (presets) with a high degree of accuracy and are available with an RS-485 interface as well as different control protocols.
